le premier jour d'ecole de Lucas/ Lucas first day at school

 Aujourd'hui lucas est alle a l'ecole pour la premiere fois. Elle s'appelle Rainbow Bridge International school et se trouve dans le zoo de Shanghai. C'est dans la meme avenue ou on habite, mais a 2,5km.

  J'avais tres peur qu'il pleure, mais a ma grande surprise, il s'est installe pour dessiner et m'a dit au revoir. Honnetement, je ne m'attendais pas a ca! Sa maitresse s'appelle Allie, elle est americaine et l'assistante est chinoise. Dans sa classe, il y a des enfants de Coree, japon, france et d'autre pays. Ils parlent tous anglais. Ils font des science, musique,sport, apprennent l'alphabet et font du chinois.

  Avec Kayla, on est alle le chercher (photos dans Lucas et kayla fevrier 08), il etait content et ne voulait pas enlever son sac a dos (parcequ'on fait comme ca a l'ecole!). Il est sortit avec une pochette contenant ses dessins et un cahier de correspondance. Dans ce cahier, la maitresse note s'il a ete gentil, s'il a bien mange. La maitresse a ecrit qu'il avait baille toutes la journee mais ne voulait pas dormir! Hier soir il etait tellement inquiet qu'il n'arrivait pas a dormir.

  Ce soir, il s'est endormit en quelques secondes, mais avant il m'a demande s'il retournerait a l'ecole encore.

  Today, Lucas went to school for the first time. It is called Rainbow Bridge International school and is located in Shanghai's zoo. It is in the same avenue where we live, but at 2,5km, 2 miles.

 I was afraid that he throw a tantrum in the class, but surprisingly, he was smiling and colouring and told me bye. Honestly, I was shocked! His teacher is called Allie and comes from america and the class assistant is chinese. In his class, the kids come from Korea, Japan, France etc.. they all speak english. they learn sciences,music, sport,alphabet and the afternoon they learn chinese!!

  With Kayla, we went to collect him (Photos are in Lucas and KAyla february 08), HE was very happy and woul not take off his school bag. He came out with his drawings and a book where the teacher writes if he was good, if he ate etc. Today, she wrote that he yawned all day but would not sleep at naptime. Last night, he cold ot fall asleep as he was very worried and excited to start school.

  Tonight, he fell asleep in a matter of seconds and made sure that he was going back to school tomorrow.
