Kayla a l'hopital

Ce matin Kayla et moi sommes allees au Shanghai Family united (hopital).

Kayla a eu son BCG a Noel et 4 ou 5 semaines plus tard, un abces purulent s'est developpe a l'endroit du vaccin. Malheureusement, celui ci a craque donc on a du aller a l'hopital pour poser un drain. Pour cela, il a fallu que kayla soit endormie.

Avant l'operation, Kayla devait etre ajeun. Ca a ete tres dur de regarder lucas manger. A l'hopital, elle hurlait de faim et a fini par s'endormir avant l'operation. Elle est partie jusqu'aux salles d'operation sur un lit. les jambes en l'air! j'ai pu l'accompagner jusqu'aux portes et apres j'ai du la regarder partir avec chirurgiens et infirmieres (ils avaient tous des masques et des chapeaux: elle devait avoir un peu peur.) Elle est revenue 45 minutes apres, elle pleurait et des qu'elle m'a vue a voulue aller dans mes bras.

Elle etait un peu perdue et fatiguee. Elle a bu son biberon et s'est endormie.

Il faut qu'on y retourne tous les 2 jours.

On etait dans une chambre seule, tres spacieuse, lumineuse et propre. Cet hopital est special pour les expatries, ils parlent tous anglais. L'hopital des chinois et juste a cote. L'entree n'a pas la meme gueule!!

This morning Kayla and I went to hospital.

Kayla had her BCG vaccine at Christmas and 4 to 5 weeks later an abcess with puse appeared. Unfortunately, it cracked and we had to go to hospital to put a drain. For this, she had to be asleep.

Before the operation, Kayla had to fast. Very hard to watch Lucas eating this morning. She was roaring with hunger in hospital.

she went to the operation room, with her legs up in the air. I accompanied her up the operating theatre doors and then left with surgeons and nurses all wearing mask and hats (must have been scary for her). She came back 45 minutes later crying, she was tired and deasy.She had a bottle adn then fell asleep.

We have to go back every 2 days to clean it.

We were in a bedroom single bed, clean. This hospital is for the expat population, the staff all speak english. the hospital for the chinese is next door but the entrance is not the same. Very smart in the shanghai family united, very dirty looking for the other one.
